The Cheese Lover's Cake is a cheese cake with big flavors that highlight the best of American artisanal cheesemaking. Five American cheeses, stacked and decorated, makes a real visual, and edible, impact on a celebration.

Top Tier: Langres
Made from full-fat cow's milk, the skin of this cheese is an orangey-yellow, and the cheese itself is light yellow with a mild flavor that becomes stronger as the cheese ripens. There is a slight hollow on the top of the cheese known as a "fountain" which is reminiscent of the ramparts around Langres. A popular way to eat Langres is to pour white wine or champagne into the "fountain" in the center and let it absorb into the cheese.

Second Tier: Humboldt Fog
This masterpiece soft-ripened goat cheese hails from Cypress Grove Creamery and features a distinctive ribbon of edible vegetable ash. Buttermilk and fresh cream, complemented with floral notes, herbaceous overtones and a clean citrus finish make this cheese an instant favorite.

Third Tier: Bayley Hazen
Bayley Hazen Blue is from the Cellars at Jasper Hill Farm has a fudge-like texture, toasted-nut sweetness, and anise spice character. The paste is dense and creamy, with well-distributed blue veins. The usual peppery character of a blue cheese is subdued, giving way to the grassy, nutty flavors in the milk.

From the Uplands Cheese creamery, Pleasant Ridge Reserve is the most-awarded cheese in American history and a popular American export to Europe. It's made in the tradition of Alpine style cheeses like Grueyere and Beaufort.
