Just your friendly neighborhood queer Cajun cheesemonger! Molly is a New Orleans native, knower of trivia, and nerd at heart. Hailing from humble Harahan, they graduated from LSU, specializing in Food Science and Technology. They’ve worked in restaurants and food-based non-profits for over a decade.
Molly started as a cheesemonger at St. James in 2018, saying that they “could only commit to a year” before they “left to pursue a different career.” Six year later and they have completely taken over the St. James Class program, become an ACS Certified Cheese Professional, and placed in the top five finalists at the 2025 Cheesemonger Invitational….Perhaps this is their career.
Molly leads an avid group of NOLA “curd nerds” each Wednesday through the St. James Cheese Class program. They also work side by side with new staff, teaching our baby mongers to navigate and understand the wonderful world of cheese.
