Justin brings 18 years of cheese experience to the table, mongering in North Carolina and Colorado before finally arriving in New Orleans in 2023. He is an ACS Certified Cheese Professional (the cheese equivalent of a sommelier) and was awarded “Best Perfect Bite” at the 2025 Cheesemonger Invitational.
Justin leads the Uptown front of house team with equal parts expertise and humor. Walking into a cheese shop can sometimes be overwhelming, with dozens of options and pairings to choose from. Whether it’s a first-time customer or monger in training, Justin takes the time to guide each person through the world of cheese. He also has a fantastic collection of button-down shirts.
