MAY 21st: Artisan vs Industry: Wine and Cheese

About this item
Sometimes folks ask, What’s the big deal? Is this fancy shmancy cheese really that much better than what we can find at the grocery store? Why is it so pricey?
For this class, we’ll be comparing artisan cheeses with their industrial counterparts. We’ll be exploring the drastic price difference, off limits cheese names, and the impact of human hands versus machines. We’ll also discuss when it's better to spring for the fancy stuff, and when you’re better off headed to the local deli aisle.
This class will feature a flight of five cheeses (and their grocery store equivalent) with a wine pairing for each.
