Milder than the extremely pungent Wisconsin version whose reputation precedes it, The Worle's Limburger has a creamy and savory flavor with a Brie-like texture. This cheese is a must-try for lovers of German Limburger. Produced by the Käserei Gast in the Allgäu region, this Limburger browns nicely under the broiler with dark bread, or slice it thin and top with onions, oil, and vinegar. Not going to lie, it is fairly pungent in smell, but that is due to the process of washing the rind with a brine mixture, which helps flavors develop in a specific way, and the flavor is lovely.
