FEBRUARY 25th: To Bee or Not To Bee: Mead and Cheese Pairing!
About this item
Mead, or honey wine, is believed to be one of the oldest alcoholic beverages, dating back to 7000 BCE. As a symbol of fertility and divine blessing, mead was thought to have the power to turn a simple peasant into a poet and assist new couples on their honeymoon. We'll be sampling mead from three distinct cultural traditions: South Africa, Italy, and Denmark.
This class will feature a flight of five cheeses, with a mead pairing for each.
