Bayley Hazen Blue *World Cheese Awards Best American Cheese**
About this item
**World Cheese Awards Best American Cheese Winner**
Bayley Hazen Blue is a raw milk, natural rind blue cheese. It is named for the Bayley Hazen military road; which was commissioned by George Washington to transport supplies during the Revolutionary War.
While it started as an homage to robust English blues like Stilton, Bayley Hazen has grown into an identity of its own. The cheese has a fudgy texture, with aromatics of cracked pepper, baking spices, and toasted hazelnuts.
Bayley is medium strength, making it great for large gatherings. Peppery and unique for the hardcore curd nerds, while buttery and balanced for the meeker cheese enthusiast.
