BLISS Privacy Policy

About BLISS

St. James Cheese Company operates BLISS as a private internal business application for authorized employees. This policy covers BLISS and its QuickBooks Online integration. Our online store has a separate privacy policy.

The QuickBooks Online integration is currently under development. The following describes its intended operation when enabled.

Information used

With authorization from our QuickBooks Online company administrator, BLISS will retrieve customer and product/service records needed to prepare wholesale invoices. These records may include customer names, business names, contact details, billing and shipping addresses, payment terms, tax settings, and QuickBooks record identifiers.

BLISS also maintains order drafts, invoice details, export results, and activity records identifying the employees who perform actions.

How information is used

We use this information to select customers, prepare orders, create invoices in our QuickBooks Online company, resolve errors, and maintain business records. BLISS is for our own business operations and is not offered to other businesses.

We do not sell QuickBooks data or use it for advertising.

Access and storage

BLISS records are stored on company-controlled systems and in business backups. Application access is limited to authorized staff accounts. Relevant information is exchanged with Intuit when connecting to QuickBooks Online and creating or retrieving records.

Public policy pages are hosted on our website. Customer records and QuickBooks credentials are not published on those pages.

Payments

BLISS does not collect customers’ payment-card numbers or online banking credentials. Invoice delivery and payment processing are handled separately in QuickBooks Online or through our established business processes.

Retention and deletion

We retain information as needed for business operations, accounting records, troubleshooting, and applicable obligations. Requests to correct or delete information are reviewed by our administrator. Copies may remain in backups until those backups are replaced or deleted.

Disconnecting QuickBooks stops future authorized access through that connection. It does not automatically delete previously imported records or invoices already created in QuickBooks.
