Produced in Switzerland only during the Fall, when the cow's milk is extra rich, this cheese is seasonal and one of the most special cheeses that graces our counter every year. Think ready-made fondue. This should be on every cheese-lovers bucket list, to be shared only with people you really really like. Makes a wonderful gift. 

 

Sold whole only. Each cheese weighs slightly over 1 lb. Eat at room temperature by removing the top crust and scooping out interior. Can be warmed in the oven slightly before enjoying.
