Mrs. Kirkham's Lancashire

About this item
Mrs. Kirkham's Lancashire is known for its succulent-yet-crumbly texture (referred to by the Kirkham family as a ‘buttery crumble’) and its tangy, bright, full flavour.
Mrs. Kirkham's farm is nestled just on the outskirts of Goosnargh Village in Lancashire, England, looking out over Beacon Fell. The Kirkham family has resided at Beesley Farm for just over 70 years. The first Lanchashire was made here by Ruth (Mrs Kirkham) in September 1978 and is still being made on the farm today.
Mrs. Kirkham's award winning raw cow's milk cheese is still made by hand to the same recipe used by Graham's Mother and Grandmother, and is made 7 days a week using only the milk from their own herd of Holstein Friesian cows.
