This selection of cheese and crackers is designed specifically to accompany The New Orleans Historic Collection's November Fine Print Book Club featuring Stir the Pot: The History of Cajun Cuisine by Marcelle Bienvenu, Carl A. Brasseaux, and Ryan Brasseaux.
The Book Club Cheese Selection will feature two cheeses, one hard, one soft, selected at their peak ripeness. The selection will include a jar of jam or honey and box of crackers for the perfect pairings. A St. James Cheese Company cheesemonger will join the virtual book club gathering to provide a lightly educational overview of the cheese.
We'll also feature a wine add-on to complement the cheese selection.
All Book Club Cheese Selections will be available for pick-up from St. James Cheese Company located at 5004 Prytania Street on or after Monday, January 25th. Curbside pick-up is available by calling 504-899-4737 upon arrival.
