AUGUST 3RD: Cheese Boot Camp! Bloomy Rinds.

We are starting a new series of classes at St. James! Cheese Boot Camp is a deep dive series examining the families of cheese one by one.
We begin with the most common question posed to cheesemongers throughout the ages: “Is this a brie?” Bloomy rinds are so much more than Brie, and not all Brie is created equal. This family ranges from broccoli to butter, from fudgy to fat bomb. Microbial cultures play a huge role in determining final texture and flavor. Walk with us through some classic styles and find out where you fall on the bloomy spectrum. We will also be plotting out spider graphs for each cheese!
This class will feature a flight of five bloomy rind cheeses.
Please note: Because the cheese is the focus, alcohol is not included in the cost of this class. You are welcome to order wine and beer from our shop to drink during class!

We cannot accommodate last minute additions and walk-ins, as we plan seating and food and beverage amounts according to our reservation numbers.
Due to space limitations, we cannot accommodate parties larger than 6. When purchasing tickets, please use the Comments section to list friends with whom you would like to sit.
We have a 2- hour cancellation policy for reservations to receive a refund. We will not issue refunds or credits for ticket purchases for NO SHOWS to the classes. Please email email@example.com with any questions.
