About this item
Made from full-fat cow's milk, the local origin of which is guaranteed. The skin of the cheese is an orangey-yellow, and the cheese itself is light yellow with a mild flavor that becomes stronger as the cheese ripens. There is a slight hollow on the top of the cheese known as a "fountain" which is reminiscent of the ramparts around Langres. A popular way to eat Langres is to pour white wine or champagne into the "fountain" in the center and let it absorb into the cheese. About 6 oz.
