Local boy makes good! Cookie grew up in Metairie and, though he's had many world travels, we're lucky that he decided to come back and make New Orleans home. After studying journalism and Asian studies in college, Cookie spent time living in Japan, and developed a deep love of Asian culinary flavors. He's been a professional chef for over six years, and has been part of team St. James for four. Stop into our Tchoup shop some time and ask him about his feelings for Emmentaler--he'll go on all day.
